9/18 startup Wendel and nick

1.) searching for possible violence, drug use, bullying, truancy and suicidal threats.
2.) This is a huge invasion of privacy.
3.) If this practice were implemented in Barbour County, I'd probably loudly complain about the waste of funding considering we are nearly in the red anyway.

9/17 startup

1.) It shows some Americans do not respect other cultures living in America.
2.) Civil Rights movement was technically supposed to affect all minorities.

1. A lot  of people order together anyway.
2. 1500 calories is about 2/3 your daily values. Yes, this could affect the obesity rates.
3. I'm almost certain KFC already does something similar.

1. The United States does not have a responsibility to be the world police.
2. The primary role the United Nations should play in Syria's civil war is holding the government accountable for its actions in assembly.
3. Chemical weapons are an issue in the world because they are deadly and easily available to abusive governments.

1. This man struck his child in order to deliver a message. Do I disagree with the delivery of his message? Yes, a slap to the face is much too personal.
2. I think the father's actions show a real interest in sentence structure.
3. I don't think this particular example would have been acceptable in the 1950's.

Bellringer 9/5

1. I couldn't care less if McDonald's raised the price of the dollar menu. As long as it stays near dirt cheap, I'll probably buy it.
2. A large portion of fast food workers are high school students working for disposable income and still living with their parents. A solution could come from giving raises to long term employees.

1. People should chase careers and degrees that interest them. They shouldn't focus on the money they would earn.
2. I would like to see data for upper level degrees.( masters, phD)

1. Yes, they are digging beyond publicly available info.
2. It probably is in line with facebook's terms of use. I've never read TOU.
3. I think that it isn't a violation. The data is owned by the company, and the company surrendered it willingly.
